Happy New Beginnings!

It is that time of year where everyone says “happy new year!”, and some even go as far as making resolutions. With the way 2020 turned out, I feel as though we should look ahead as though it is a chance at a new beginning, and in a way it really is. We all have that uncertainty ahead of us, but we are in it together and as much as you are probably tired of hear that, it really is the truth. So, allow me to wish you a very “happy new beginning!”.

The holiday’s were low key for us this year, which made me happy because if you know me at all, December is my least favorite month, but we both took 8 days off and it was glorious. In that time off I realized that we do not take enough time off throughout the year. We work, we stay busy and we cram a lot into our 2 days off each week, but it is rare we take more than a week off each year. I think that needs to change and I have plans to make that happen for 2021. It’s going to be a pretty badass year, and I hope the same for you!

New Year, New Plans

There was a time when a new year always gave me a renewed sense of change and ideas, but I have sense realized that it does not need to be a specific date to make a change. Resolutions are good to be made, but only if it is something that you are ready to fulfill, or else they will be broken shortly after they are set. For me I think that it is healthy to maintain goals and to make them throughout the year, so no New Years Resolutions for me. What about for you?
